Ultra-Low Pressure Starts
1165-LMD provides reliable starts at pressures as low as 40 psig, whether in sub-zero cold or sweltering heat.
Normal Starting Pressures
1165-LMD is rated from 40 to 125 psig. This first dual pressure situation air/gas starter.

Dirty Air – No Problem
1165-LMD vane/rotor technology has a long history as the workhorse of the industry. Turbine starters on the other hand, frequently clog with contaminated air or are damaged and shut down due to their delicate parts. Field repairs of turbine units are virtually impossible and their parts are overly expensive. Vane repair kits are easy to install and economical.
